The Ravi R&D Center was conceptualized and brought to life with a single vision — to study, understand, and innovate in the field of zebrafish research products.
Founded in memory of Late Dr. Ravi Kumar Gupta, an Ex–Indian Air Force Officer and Surgeon (MBBS, General Surgery) an AFMC – 1st Batch pass out he was inducted into Air Force and served major portion of his life at various AMC Stations across India. Ravi R&D center embodies his spirit of discipline, precision, and service. It was his guidance that laid the foundation for this initiative. When we began our journey in zebrafish housing technology, he advised, “Establish a permanent center for research and development — to understand your technology, improve it continuously, and prove to customers that you mean business.”
Today, that vision thrives within Ravi R&D Center.

Product Development
Beyond studying our own products and their performance, we develop, test, and validate new technologies at our dedicated R&D facility. We take pride in being the only company in the zebrafish domain with an integrated in-house Wet Lab and R&D Center, enabling real-time innovation, validation, and continuous improvement.
Microinjection Services
At Ravi R&D Center, we offer a range of specialized zebrafish research services. Our fully equipped wet lab provides microinjection support to institutes and researchers wishing to conduct studies on zebrafish up to 5 days post-fertilization, following all necessary ethical standards.
Study Consulting
Our panel of zebrafish experts supports institutes and researchers at every stage — from study design to publication. We provide end-to-end consulting and turnkey solutions, ensuring smooth execution, scientific accuracy, and meaningful research outcomes.
Wet Lab
Our state-of-the-art Wet Lab is equipped with a 5-tier automated housing system holding 1,500 zebrafish at any given time with multiple strains, along with a quarantine facility for 300 fish and a dedicated hatchery.
We breed, raise, and maintain various zebrafish strains under controlled conditions, ensuring the highest standards of health and care. Our team conducts studies up to 5 days post-fertilization (dpf) and manages every aspect of husbandry with precision and commitment.
Backed by a skilled and passionate team, our Wet Lab serves as the core of our research and innovation ecosystem.
Neuro Science Lab
As our Zebrafish Housing Systems grew, we saw a clear need for neuroscience solutions. That insight sparked a new journey — to discover, innovate, and develop products and software for Zebrafish Neuroscience.
With our new Neuroscience Experimental Lab, we’re expanding the boundaries of zebrafish research — from housing to brain.
We are looking for a post graduate with keen interest in neuroscience, with a backgound of software MATLAB, PYTHON etc to join our product development team. Apply if you feel this excites you. Biology + Statistics + Software.
Fish Disease Diagnosis
We are in the process of establishing a comprehensive disease diagnosis infrastructure dedicated to zebrafish health and welfare. From water quality testing to pathogen identification, the lab will empower research facilities to better understand disease dynamics, monitor water parameters, and take timely corrective measures.
Aligned with the 3Rs of research – Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement – we are committed to making Zebrafish Disease Diagnosis accessible, reliable, and science-driven for all research communities.
OUR EXPERT PANEL –
Our Expert Paanel consists of invited panel members on board and our friendly consultative board members. Invited Panel Board Members are those, who are academecians, reserchers, industry experts, Vetenerian, Toxocologist, Scientists from molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Auyervedic Medicine Experts, Eminent Engineers, Expert from Fisheries, Technicians from Aquatice Systems, Water Treatment Experts, and Animal Activists etc. Some of our panel members are open to disclosing their identities and other are satnding in our support annoymously.
Being a panel member may not provide remuneration to our experts, but it provides enough motivation for them to continue in support of a student in need. Their slefless act of helping students, academecians, and others who require their expertise in need of a study or program is rewarded by the one who is above all of us. We welcome such KARMAYOGI’s on board and will be indebted to them for life.
